Innovation, sustainability, and strategic vision: with these principles, Mack & Schühle Italia presented Grapur during the 57th edition of Vinitaly (from 6th to 9th April 2025), a new oenological project set to shape the future of wine. Alongside Verallia, a producer of glass containers, the Italian company launched a product that perfectly blends the new demands of consumers with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

A new study, presented by Assovetro, explores sustainability by analysing the recycling performance of four key materials: glass, PET, aluminium, and multilayer.

With the launch of the new BD VIVA LITE 75 CL bottle, Vidrala takes another significant step towards a more sustainable future in the packaging industry. Verallia, the food and beverage glass container manufacturer, has completed the acquisition of Vidrala in Italy, a company with sales of 131 million euros and EBITDA of 33 million euros in 2023.

Verallia, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of glass packaging for food and beverages, has entered into an agreement to acquire Vidrala's glass business in Italy to expand its capacity in the Italian market to a total of seven production sites. The transaction has an enterprise value of 230 million euros and will be financed through external debt.
