Pro-Gest, an Italian paper group, announces the launch of its new Pro-Tect division dedicated to the production of 100% recyclable and biodegradable cellulose pulp packaging. An innovation that enables the Pro-Gest Group to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, offering a highly effective solution for a wide range of industrial applications. Cellulose pulp represents an ideal material for creating resistant, flexible and lightweight packaging.
Thanks to its high capacity to absorb shocks and vibrations, it guarantees optimal protection of contents during transport and storage. The range includes products that combine recycled paper, newsprint or alternatively virgin pure cellulose fibre, thus ensuring a perfect balance between robustness and sustainability.
The Pro-Tect division is developed on two main lines: the Industry Line and the Premium Line. The Industry Line is designed to meet high-volume requirements and offers robust alternatives with high protective capacity. Ideal for use in the industrial, electronics and automotive sectors, this line is capable of responding to the challenges of heavy and bulky packaging as well. On the other hand, the Premium Line focuses on high-quality packaging intended for more delicate and high-added-value products. This line is ideal for applications in the cosmetics, fashion and design sectors, where aesthetic appearance is essential in addition to protection.
The new Pro-Tect unit does not limit itself to proposing standardised solutions, such as corner protectors, pallets with traditional dimensions or protective sheets for shipments, but offers itself as a partner for the development of customised solutions, designed to meet the specific requirements of each customer, in every market.
