Sappi has expanded its range of functional papers for packaging with a complete series of heat-sealable solutions, designed for converters, printers, and brand owners seeking fiber-based alternatives to plastic. The new Seal series, comprising Seal Silk, Seal G Silk, Seal Pure Silk, Seal Natural, Seal Light, and Seal Lucent, is designed for primary and secondary packaging applications and integrates seamlessly into existing packaging lines.
Made from fossil-fuel-free materials and ISCC-certified, the range ensures reliable sealing, excellent mechanical strength, and high-quality print, with grammages ranging from 44 to 110 g/m² and multiple finishes.
Typical applications include pillow bags, stick packs, doypacks, stand-up pouches, multi-packs for confectionery and snacks, as well as other food and non-food products that require secure sealing without complex barrier structures. Seal papers provide a reliable and safe product with well-defined print surfaces, helping brands stand out on the shelves.
