Herambiente Completes Acquisition of Aliplast

Herambiente, a company within the Hera Group specialising in waste management and recovery, has acquired 100% ownership of Aliplast, headquartered in Ospedaletto d’Istrana (TV), marking the completion of a strategic integration process that began in 2017. This morning, Herambiente finalised the purchase of the remaining 20% stake held by minority shareholder Rogroup.

Founded by Roberto Alibardi, Aliplast is today recognised as one of Europe’s leading players in the recycling and regeneration of plastics. It provides tailored solutions for the recovery of plastics packaging and the production of high-quality recycled materials, with a strong presence in premium markets such as food, health & beauty, and industrial sectors.

Since joining the Hera Group, Aliplast has experienced steady growth: in 2024, it achieved a turnover of 150 million euros and produced approximately 100,000 tonnes of recycled materials, including PET flakes, granules and sheets; LDPE films, flakes and granules; as well as PP and HDPE flakes.

A key milestone this year will be the launch of a new state-of-the-art HDPE recovery plant in Modena, expected to significantly increase the company’s output of high-quality recycled plastics. Additional investments are also underway at the Borgolavezzaro (NO) site, where LDPE production capacity is being expanded.

With this acquisition, Herambiente further enhances its ability to offer integrated and reliable services, closing the loop on sustainability: from the collection and treatment of plastics packaging to the production of high-grade secondary raw materials ready to re-enter the manufacturing cycle.

This represents a best-practice example of applied circular economy, where industrial expertise, technological innovation, and environmental responsibility combine to create value for both businesses and the wider community — all without affecting the Group’s financial position.
