The Daverio-based (Varese, Italy) company participated as sponsor at the ANICAV event, presenting the Fres-co aseptic system and GNova line for sustainable packaging of tomato derivatives.
Goglio, global leader in flexible packaging with 175 years of experience, participated as sponsor at the "Filo Rosso del Pomodoro 2025" event, the benchmark appointment organised by ANICAV which took place on 28 November at Naples' Maritime Station.
Aseptic system for maximum quality During the event, the Daverio (VA) company presented the Fres-co Aseptic System®, an integrated system that combined packaging lines, high-barrier flexible laminates and plastic accessories. The range spanned from bag-in-box for food service to large industrial formats of 1,600 litres, guaranteeing food safety and preservation of organoleptic properties without the need for refrigeration.
Sustainable innovation with GNova Goglio also illustrated the GNova System, dedicated to packaging tomato derivatives through hot-fill, ambient temperature, aseptic and vacuum filling lines. The preformed flat, stand-up and Pillow Up pouches up to 10 litres, made with customisable high-barrier laminates, represented a sustainable alternative to traditional rigid packaging.
Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 The GNova machines were prepared for integration with the Goglio MIND IIoT platform, which enabled data collection and analysis for production performance optimisation and predictive maintenance.
Circularity focus In line with the sector's sustainability objectives, Goglio developed "ready-for-recycling" packaging, confirming its commitment to solutions that combine production efficiency with environmental responsibility.
The participation underlined the role of the Lombard company as a technological partner of excellence for the Italian tomato supply chain, a strategic sector for national agri-food exports.
