Robatech is expanding its collaboration with robot manufacturers by launching an integration kit for ABB's GoFa cobots that promises to transform environmental efficiency in adhesive application.
The new integration kit connects Robatech's adhesive application system with ABB cobots.
The combination of the adhesive application system and robot enables even complex components to be automatically bonded with precision and reproducibility whilst significantly reducing material waste. With the integration kit for ABB GoFa robots, the heated hose and application head can be mechanically attached to the robot arm in just a few simple steps using practical brackets.
The integration kit for ABB also includes interface software for communication between the adhesive application system and the robot. The RobaVis user interface is displayed on the ABB touch panel. Thanks to lead-through motion and intuitive graphical apps, adhesive application can be easily stored even without programming expertise.
This solution, compatible with the three robot variants GoFa 5, GoFa 10 and GoFa 12, opens new possibilities for sustainable automation in key sectors such as packaging, automotive and converting, where reducing adhesive waste can generate significant savings and measurable environmental benefits.
The partnership demonstrates how intelligent automation can transform traditional processes into eco-efficient solutions without compromising on quality of results.
